Corky & Rev. B.R. Johnson in Conclave

More info to follow on this particular summit .... as you can imagine.

As a testament to his forward thinking, comforting optimism, and in response to: "You smell like last night's drink", the right reverend declared last night, "I smell like tomorrow's drink, today."

You better treat my little Cardinal Corky right, Mr. Reverend B.R. Johnson! Corky's a good Cardinal and -- just between you and me -- he's an amazing groomer. I'd hate to see something happen to him in a back hallway of the Vatican just because he don't support the man you think should be pope. So no rough housing in Conclave! No thumb wrestling with Corky! No fake-trip-oops-I-spilled-my-coffee-on-your-thinking-pants-Cardinal-Corky-ing! I won't have it! I want him back home happy and healthy and in one Corky-piece so he can get back to work overseeing his bishops. (Also, please tell him we need more milk.)

Sincerely,

Bride of Corky

Personally, I think it's good to see some interdenominational cordiality and good will.

I'm still curious how that simian achieved such high rank in the church. As a reformed Catholic I'm well aquainted with the church's low standards for those it ordains. But it seems to me that Corky's main qualification would be the fact that he's a puppet.

I'd suggest they both check to see that they still have their watches!

You've all missed the point and I get to say so since I was here. Corky and Boyce were holding hands, in the most ministerial sense. They like each other -- there is deep respect in their tactile connection. They approve of this union and were in blessing mode all weekend long. Their conduct might even be a lesson to the oft-dubious workings of more established churches who pontificate on love and harmony but, in the arena of politics, fall short.

Blessings are extended to all of you!

As I said above, I'm all for sincere ecumenical efforts for the greater good. And when this post was made, we had no knowledge of the blessings being bestowed by them upon the Siglewjen household.

And I offer my blessing to all of you, also.

Well, Chuck, It's nice to see that you're so worried about petty theft among holy men (and/or monkeys). Perhaps you should be more concerned with your own wellbeing, and that of your beloved Kitty. Good ol' Buck can't help you now, nor can your buddy Mike Surf. The hamsters were just the beginning. You're next.

Geez, Celeste, ever since you hooked up with Donnie you've been a real crankypants. Kitty still won't trust me because she thinks Buck Jr. looks like you.
And thanks for bringing up the tragic incident that claimed my dad....or did it? Wait, there's someone at the door.....
(Tad plays dramatic sting)
