8/6/05 Navigator Draws a Map (T minus 6 days)

B is drawing a yard map.... to aid Team Chuck & Team Hannah in their Friday 8/12 Wedding Eve Day set up endeavors. His mom told me yesterday when we went shopping for paper products that when he was the littlest teeny kid he had the uncanny ability to draw the straighest lines she'd ever seen.

That's my Navigator Dude!

Nice map. So where's the campground going to be, B?

I'm glad it worked out that we can make it, though I'm feeling jealous that Sugar & Corona will be there early and we won't. I'm looking forward to this party—as Sugar said, the ceremony is mere formality. But it's an important one.

T minus 5!!

"needs more plot"

I think that's what Wendy & I were getting at, too. It does mean a lot more work for you, but the story has great bones and your style is so fun and absorbing. Just last night, while in kind of that dreamy state of conciousness, part of your story was floating through my mind. It has staying power! All I can say is, get to work, Girl—I want to buy the published edition.

TRISHA CORONA!!!! Very positive feedback. From what I've heard, editor types are as brutal as A&R types.... so what you got was a green light from the big boys & girls to run with this thing. It's gonna be a fantastic winter. We better stock you up with things you might need to write late into the night after night. xoxo

ps.... who knows.... maybe that's the real reason BGGG has come in the door....

Maps for all—great thinking Sugar Dog. And maybe compasses, too.

I'm actually looking forward to a night in the tent. We haven't been camping in a couple years.
