Blowtorch Sr.

That's my crazy Dad and his new accomplice (Best Dude, Bob "Never-Ever" Fales). My Dad has welded many things over the years: My sister's plastic baby buggy and his own hand are two items.

Nice Shot!

Bob doesn't look quite a nervous in this picture.

Ghosts in the machines. Right now, on my screen, The FYI Reminder Suggestion post is at the top and dated Sunday, May 15th, posted at 12:18 AM! More time travelling. The picture of the blow-torch wizards is missing right now too.

Uh ... yeah, that may have been kind of a dumb move. I just wanted to catch the next wave of new blog viewers without having to make a brand-new post. Think I'll try it another way. Blow-torch wizards are still showing in my cyberworld.

Damn, I keep looking at this photo and I laugh and nearly weep every time. MY DAD IS SO $%#^%# CUTE. He was on me all day to check my mail for a photo he was sending me. This photo-op required some great forethought on his part to bring the camera to Bob's shop, where he was getting a "part" fabricated, and then duplicate the torch shot with the built-in timer and then revealing his identity behind the mask. I'm beginning to think that these photos could be a deep study of our relationship, but I'd have to ponder it for a bit ----My Hero.

And now I can't stop laughing at Bob in those shots. Some day I will tell everyone the story of Bob opening a coconut with a croquet mallet ...

Ann Coulter is on The Tonight Show right now. She's all tramped up. I try not to use the "C" word too often but she just deserves it.

I thought I was developing a growth of some sort in one of my sockets, but later found out is was only a tiny little pea from a pea-pod trapped for a few moments ... one tends to get paranoid about teeth and matters of the mouth!

All is good, it seems. All in all, a painless and smooth removal. Thanks for asking.

You should have seen the heated debate (may be in the archives) about appropriate use of the "C" word in Ex-Mac ... and I do agree, if there's one woman in the world right now who fully deserves that moniker, it's Ann Coulter. What is the deal with her even getting attention? It make sme think of the NPR thing today when that Parker guy was asked who would be Galbraith's contemporary and he answered "Bono". Our nation is truly dumbed-down by the TV. Case and point: Ann Coulter.

I feel you, Dog.

I thought the Parker interview was really good. If I understood him correctly, he chose Bono for the very reason you mention--that America has been completely dumbed-down. I'm going to have to read some of Galbraith's work.

Got any new post ideas coming?

It would be kind of nice to decorate two butane torches all pretty with wedding lace and stuff, and then light the unity bottle rocket together or something .... hmmmm.
