HONEYMOON TRIP - DAY 2 (HARLEM WEST)
Christ in the City. Who knew?! Sinners welcome. Wendy and I haven't been sinning since we got married last year, but anyway ... I doubt that this church has its own McDonald's like some of those evangelical mega-churches. Maybe some Gumbo or catfish in the basement on Sundays, though.
Then there was the Black Rodeo Cowboy Walk of Fame. This is definitely not on the "Things to See in Denver" brochure that folks pick up at the airport. Scout & Navigator off the beaten path again! Today, we head to Boulder after re-packing the car for maximized comfort. See you there!

Hey you two 'mooners ... didn't get to you before you embarked on your journey, tho' had best intentions. Here's to you, on the road agin'!!
(Sing these lyrics to the tune, "Happy Holidays" ...)
Happy Honeymoon, happy Honeymoon,
May your merry hearts be winging,
Happy Honeymoon to you!
Happy ro-oad food, happy full moon,
New adve-entures be bringing,
Happy Honeymoon to yo-o-o-o-o-ou!
Love & blessings of the road, yer Ceester
mile markers fly
while you glide
under sky
coffee gets drunk
the junk's in the trunk
did you smell that skunk?
onward and upward
removed from the herd
check in with Byrd
love's on the move
trippin for two
lost in a drivin groove
Rock on.
I'd forgotten the "butthole" reference. It's so true. And a hilarious way to put it.
How's your writing going, Birdie? Are you still working on the rewrite? I'd love a copy when you're finished. Life's good?
Wow, who knew what I'd be firing up! It's a beautiful thing, ya'll ...
B&W--Where are you two? Nothin since Tuesday...there's gotta be more than just road out there!
