The Quonset Option

Well, you know, we've been a bit overwhelmed trying to pull things together for the wedding. The mower keeps breaking down, the rain never stops, the garden may never get planted, the basement is damp and piled up with tubs and boxes and music gear, two bathrooms are barely functioning, the shed needs a new door, there's no electricity in the garage.

Maybe we should just can this house & yard party idea and rent a quonset hut. This one looks pretty appealing.... what do you think?

This looks like a good location, but only if you keep the sign intact as is.

Bummer about all the problems. It's got to be making you guys crazy. Not much to do about the weather, though. You could grow mushrooms in the basement, but I bet it's hard on the gear. I thought you got the lawn tractor fixed not too long ago. Flowers & veggies are nice, but you'll survive without if it comes to that. The shed can wait but bathrooms are essential. Am I helping yet?

As long as I'm posting, when does the Beacon come out? I'm curious to see if they print a letter from a Texas resident--I'm trying to give B some support in his debate with the Wingnut.

Well... looks like the Beacon rejected the letter this week from an unknown Texan. Thanks for trying to support the effort!

Yeah... the tractor gets "fixed" every week. We need a new one. We've ordered port-a-potties for the event. But, the bathrooms still need attention. We're working on it. Mushrooms on guitar cases & mixing boards are, as you say, not good -- even if they are strangely attractive -- in their way.

And Zeke, I have to agree that Mad Max was pashionnate in that there movie.

I love the small town, 4-digit phone number.
