We celebrated Mitch's first birthday on May 15. Nothing funnier than a kid facing his first candle and his first sugar overload. He maintained, holding court without a meltdown. Happy Birthday Mitchell!
I know.... ain't he a beauty? And those girls? And my new nephew? All this and amazing friends, good wine, political debate, the pursuit of music, art, philosophy.
I'm beginning to think it's possible to be revisiting bliss on a continual basis until I'm a wrinkled old raisin of a girl regardless of the inevitable disappointments and tragedies along the way.

Like Brent always says...."Life is long...."
Life is long. It's also short. It's good to make the most of every day. Every minute, even.
Tragedy & disappointment provide the contrast needed in order to appreciate the sublime and the victories.
Nice family. Great moment.
