Puzzle Piece #1

Note: the ancient keyboard. Note: the comely sign. Note: The Reverend before he had actual papers. Now, wait for it. (clue: funerals & give-aways .... bonus point: 10/16 is the Scout birthday day ?!?)

Uh-oh.
Not sure I like where this is going...
Final "piece" of puzzle may cause great distress....
Are you sure you want to take the blog down that road?

Would that be the Commodore 64? And also, did it have the game Oregon Trail? (was that what it was called?)

My 1st 'puter was an Apple II. It had a 5-1/4" floppy also, although you really couldn't do much with it. Had a couple simple programs for the kids. The best thing about it was that I won it in a drawing.

Used to have a Pong game we could hook up to the TV, too.

Wow! Too much techno-nostalgia.

OK Wendy. The pic of the-not-yet-Rev was taken on your Birthday. Why crop out the year? I think I'm too far out of the loop to solve the puzzle—it's too "inside."

The year was not intentionally cropped off. It just arrived cropped off. Take it up w/ Fatguy..... he was the photographer.

MUST.
CROP.
PHOTO.

Completely aesthetic. No big secret. 'Twas a new camera at the time and I shouldn't have had that on there at all.
But I guess it was wise in the end, documenting a historic endeavor and all.....

The Commodores. Wasn't Lionel Ritchie's band in the '70s? And I was 7 in '64. And 7 is a prime number. And also the date of MY birth. And... And... And... I don't think this is going anwhere.
